Freeter

Freeter
Freeter is an expression originally derived from Japan, that refers to people between the age of 15 and 34 who lack fulltime employment. Different from the NEETs(the abbreviation for Not currently engaged in Employment, Education or Training), who do not have a source of income, freeters do make their own living by taking part-time jobs. But the low income makes it difficult for freeters to start a family, and the lack of qualifications makes it difficult to start a better career at a later point in life.
